Exciting young half-back Joey Walsh is a player to watch in 2025.

Touted as one of the most talented young playmakers in the country, Walsh begins the first year of a three-year deal at Manly in 2025.

A Northern Beaches boy who attended St Augustine’s College, Brookvale, Walsh hails from the Narraweena Hawks Club in the Manly District Junior Rugby League.

An elite player at schoolboy level, Walsh was the Australian U18s rugby flyhalf and captain in 2023 and was highly sought after by the Australian Rugby Union and other NRL clubs.

Having played junior rugby league at the Sydney Roosters, Walsh will be able to learn from experienced NRL players such as Daly Cherry-Evans, Tom Trbojevic and Luke Brooks.
