Biography:

Second-rower Dean Matterson will be pushing hard for more NRL game time in 2025.

Matterson has worked very hard on developing his game since playing seven first grade games for the Sea Eagles in 2023, where he proved he compete for a position in the team.

A mature player, Matterson has a great attitude towards his rugby league. He offers tremendous utility value with the ability to be able to play centre, five-eighth, lock, and second-row.

Matterson is the younger brother of Parramatta Eels player, Ryan Matterson.

A popular clubman, Matterson is off contract at Manly at the end of 2025.
