The Sea Eagles return to Brookvale this Sunday for a heavyweight clash with Melbourne Storm in Round 5 of the Telstra NRL Premiership.

Sitting second on the ladder and unbeaten at the fortress it’s been a solid start to the season for Manly, who are looking to make it four from four at 4 Pines Park.

Given the fierce rivalry between these clubs, this game is circled on the calendar each season.

The tension still simmers after back-to-back grand finals in 2007 and 2008, and of course the events that unfolded at Brookie on 26th August 2011.

The battle resumes this weekend on Lot 47A, aka The Fortress.

Manly is coming off a 26-12 win over the Eels which was played in wet and windy conditions, while the Storm suffered a shock 14-8 defeat to the Dragons at Kogarah.

The Sea Eagles have had no problems scoring points through four rounds, in fact they’ve posted more points than any other team in the competition (124).

The Storm has also piled on the points in their two wins this season, running in 10 tries against the Eels in Round 1, before posting 30 points against the Panthers in Round 3.
