A quick look ahead to this weekend’s games for the Sea Eagles junior and senior representative teams.

Harold Matthews Cup

The Sea Eagles Under 17s head to Shark Park on Saturday to face Cronulla who are equal on the ladder with eight competition points following three wins, two losses and a bye.

Manly were beaten last start by the Knights after stringing together three straight victories.

The Sharks also suffered a narrow loss to the Knights a few weeks ago.

SG Ball Cup

The Sea Eagles Under 19s also play Cronulla at Shark Park on Sunday, following a difficult run in recent weeks.

After an impressive opening-round win over the Warriors, Manly have lost their past five games, including a heavy last-start loss to the Knights two weeks ago.

The Sharks have won three, lost three, and are placed tenth on the ladder.

Lisa Fiaola Cup

Our women’s Under 17s are still searching for their first win of the season when they travel to Wollongong on Saturday to face the Steelers.

The team went very close last start, giving up a 10-0 half time lead against the Bears, only to lose 12-10.

The Steelers sit seventh on the ladder with two wins and three losses.

Tarsha Gale Cup

The Sea Eagles Under 19s women’s side is also searching for their first win of the season after taking giant strides in their past two outings.

The team drew 14-14 with the Bears last start after stretching the unbeaten Bulldogs all the way in Round 5.

Another big challenge awaits them on Saturday against the second-placed Steelers in Wollongong.

Jersey Flegg Cup

Manly and Canberra are two of three unbeaten teams after two rounds in the Jersey Flegg Cup and they face off at 4 Pines Park on Sunday.

The Anthony Watmough coached Sea Eagles defeated the Warriors 32-28 last weekend after opening the season with a comfortable win at home over the Rabbitohs.

Talented young half Joey Walsh scored a hat-trick last Saturday in Auckland and was spotted on his day off this week at 4 Pines Park spending extra time on his kicking game.

The Raiders piled on 50 points against the Warriors in Round 1 and put 40 points last the Fiji Silktails last weekend.

NSW Cup

Our NSW Cup team heads into Sunday’s match against the Raiders after a two-point loss to the Rabbitohs in Round 1, and a 31-20 loss to the Warriors in Auckland last weekend.

The Raiders are coming off the bye which followed an 18-16 loss to the Warriors at Leichhardt in Round 1.
