Manly Warringah Sea Eagles tackle the New Zealand Warriors on Friday night at Go Media Stadium, Auckland in Round 2 of the Telstra NRL Premiership.

Manly heads across the ditch on a high following last weekend’s 42-12 thumping of the Cowboys, while the Warriors prepare for their first home game of the season.

On a six-day turnaround, and to optimise preparations for Friday’s match, the Sea Eagles travelled from Brookvale to Auckland on Tuesday.

There is just the one change to the team that so effectively dismantled the Cowboys, with Josh Aloiai replacing fellow Auckland-born prop, Siua Taukei’aho (knee).

Jazz Tevaga returns to face his former club for the first time since joining Manly in the off season, after playing 138 games over nine seasons for the Warriors.

Warriors coach Andrew Webster has stuck with the same 17 from Round 1 despite his team's 30-8 loss to the Raiders in Vegas.

With 12 days between games, the home side has had plenty of time to right the wrongs from Sin City, which included 44 missed tackles.

Manly has enjoyed a pretty good run in Auckland over the years, winning 11 of the 17 matches played at this venue, with just five losses.

The Sea Eagles’ most recent game against the Warriors at Go Media Stadium ended in a 22-22 draw in Round 6 last season.
