Manly took a 16-0 lead into the break at 4 Pines Park and ran away with it in the second half after the Bunnies had a player sent from the field.
Manly got off to a great start, scoring in just the third minute. A shift to the right saw imposing centre Oliver Lawry plant a strong left fend on his opposite number to score in front of the Ken Arthurson Stand.

Lawry’s conversion attempt bounced off the far upright to leave the home side up 4-0.
Souths had the better field position for much of the first half but were unable to come away with points.
The Sea Eagles made it 10-0 in the 28th minute when nippy half Callum Dowell collected a neat bomb on the full to go in untouched.
A couple of minutes out from half time the home side was in again, when prop Ramses Munro barged over from close range, his try converted by Lawry, to give the Sea Eagles a 16-0 lead at half time.
Souths had second row Ben Geary sent off 7 minutes into the second half for what appeared to be a collision using his head.
Manly scored their fourth try of the afternoon when Christian Taula crossed with 19 minutes remaining, before left edge forward Sampson Mairi punched through a hole from 30 metres out to score in the northwestern corner.

Lawry converted from the sideline to make it 28-0 and it wasn’t long before his team was over again when Jett Jackson collected an in-goal kick to extend the scoreline to 32-0.
Bunnies winger Daniel Waqa then found the line for his team’s first try with about 10 minutes to play.
Manly bagged their seventh and final try of the match when replacement William Lane dived over from dummy half to make 32-4, before the Rabbitohs scored again on the stroke of full time.
A great start for the Flegg boys under the guidance of new head coach Anthony Watmough.
