Coach’s Comment – Anthony Watmough

The 2025 pre-season has been thoroughly enjoyable from a coach's perspective.

We've focused on building a strong team culture, emphasizing the importance of hard work, accountability, camaraderie and being a good teammate.

Despite initial setbacks due to injuries which affected our depth, every player who has joined our team has demonstrated a clear understanding of what it means to be a Manly player.

They have shown remarkable resilience and trust in our processes, coaches, and game plan. As a coach, it's incredibly rewarding to see our staff's efforts come to fruition and witness the team execute our strategies effectively.

I'm proud of every single player, as each one has worked tirelessly to earn their opportunity to represent our team, and most importantly, to represent Manly.

The players’ dedication and commitment has been outstanding, and I'm excited to see their hard work pay off in the season ahead.
