Manly Warringah Sea Eagles is delighted to confirm a contract extension and immediate upgrade for outside back, Lehi Hopoate.

Previously on a developmental contract for 2025 and 2026, Hopoate is now elevated to the Sea Eagles’ top 30 squad for the next three seasons.
The new and improved deal will see the Beacon Hill Bears junior remain with the Sea Eagles until at least the end of 2027.
Coach Anthony Seibold has been impressed with Hopoate’s development over the past few years.
“He’s a terrific young man and obviously a very talented footballer, so it’s great for Lehi and the Club that he has locked in a new deal,” Seibold said.
“This time last year he was with us in Vegas and then he went on to make his NRL debut mid-season.
We are all happy for Lehi because he’s worked so hard to get to where he is today.

Lehi, who attended high school just across the road from Brookvale fortress, 4 Pines Park, is enthusiastic about the season ahead.
“I love it here at Manly and I’m learning so much from this group,” said the former St Augustine’s College student.
“I know I’ve got to keep working hard and keep improving as a player to do my part for this team.
I’m really looking forward to the season ahead and my future at this club.
