Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have trimmed their squad to 24 players ahead of Friday evening’s Pre-season Challenge match against the Panthers at Leichhardt Oval.

There are several changes to the team that defeated the Rabbitohs last weekend with six players to pull on the Manly jersey for the first time this year.

Jazz Tevaga and Ben Trbojevic will no longer be playing, with Jake Simpkin and Michael Chee Kam moving into the starting side.

Reuben Garrick and Tolu Koula come into the centres, with Garrick to captain the side. Clayton Faulalo shifts from centre to fullback with Lehi Hopoate named on the wing.

Changes in the forwards see Ethan Bullemor start at prop and Nathan Brown named at lock.

Middle forward Jacob Sykes, who played for the Indigenous All Stars last weekend, has been named on an extended bench, as has replacement half, Brandon Wakeham.

The team will be coached by Anthony Seibold’s assistant, Jim Dymock.
