Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have confirmed their 24-man squad for Saturday’s NRL Pre-season Challenge match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

The first competitive match of the season, to be played at Industree Group Stadium, Gosford, will see several emerging players line up alongside a host of more experienced teammates.

Two-time premiership-winner Siua Taukeiaho will play his first game for the club, joined in the front row by captain, Toafofoa Sipley.

Former Bulldogs forward Chris Patolo will also pull on a Manly jersey for the first time, as will Djazirhae Puaávase, a 21-year-old forward who has joined the club from the Cowboys.

Michael Chee-Kam will line up in the second row, eleven years after making his NRL debut with the Sea Eagles.

Jake Simpkin will wear the No. 9 jersey with Gordon Chan Kum Tong the other dummy-half option on the bench.

Sixteen of the 24-strong squad have NRL experience.

The team will be coached by Anthony Seibold’s assistant, Steven Hales.
