The NSWRL Junior Representative season is upon us, and it all kicks off with a double-header on Sunday.

Get yourself to 4 Pines Park to see the very first games of the new season when our Harold Matthews and SG Ball Cup teams tackle the New Zealand Warriors.

Harold Matthews Cup

The new Harold Matthews squad, coached by Jordan Meredith, have a great first-up challenge against the defending premiers.  Albeit a different team than last season, the Warriors are sure to have gained in confidence after winning the title in 2024.

There's plenty of local knowledge in the Sea Eagles Under 17s with the vast majority of players being local juniors, including skipper Sifa Oldfield, a proud Narraweena Hawks junior.

Our team narrowly missed the finals last season, finishing 7th on the ladder, just one point behind eventual premiers, the Warriors.

SG Ball Cup

There will be plenty of interest in our SG Ball team this season, with several players having trained with the NRL squad in pre-season, including half-back and top-30 player, Joey Walsh.

Walsh will miss Round 1, still recovering from illness, with Beau Alexander to wear the No.7 jersey.  He’ll be partnered in the halves by exciting five-eighth Onitoni Large, one of several supplementary list players in the team.

The Sea Eagles SG Ball outfit, under the guidance of coach Wayne Lambkin, will be hoping to improve on last season’s 14th place finish.
