What's your favorite rugby league memory growing up?
Screaming (while jumping on the lounge) and cheering for Manly through the TV screen and on the sidelines. The best memory is listening to my pop commentate every Manly game in broken English like he's played rugby league his whole entire life. My pop has NEVER picked up a rugby league ball in his life.
Who are your favourite rugby league players in NRL or NRLW?
Brian To'o, Georgia Hale.
What does it mean to you to be part of the first Manly Harvey Norman’s Women’s team?
Pretty bloody special. It means playing for family, friends, community and my hometown. My Mum, Nan (Mele) and Pop (Noa) immigrated to Australia from the Islands of Tonga back in the early 1970s and settled right on Manly Beach. They were one of the first of many Tongan families to settle in Manly and have always followed the Sea Eagles. Nothing beats playing for your home team on home turf.
Funniest team-mate?
Nia (Lavinia Tauhalaliku). Ask her to drop it like it's hot!
What are your goals this season?
To play consistent and good footy. Improve every week and make the top 17
Tell us about your family and any special achievements?
We're a big Tongan/Samoan family, so having good banter is a must in our family. t was an honor and privilege to have played for Tonga in 2022 in rugby league, and for Australia in Flag and Gridiron in 2023.
Who is your hero?
My Pop, Noa
What's your favorite movie and why?
Cool Runnings because its a story that captures the true meaning of team spirit and inspires those that dare to dream big to go after it, no matter what! And also because SANKA is the GOAT.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Love spending it sleeping and having tea with my Nan
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Night owl
