Half-back Tylor Bunting is having a fine season for the Sea Eagles

Quality young half-back Tylor Bunting makes a welcome return for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in a crucial home match on Saturday in round 24 of the Jersey Flegg Cup.

With three rounds remaining, the Sea Eagles sit in fifth place and must account for the out of contention Warriors at 4 Pines Park to further push their claim for a finals berth.

Manly are on 28 points, just one point ahead of Cronulla in sixth place and two points clear of the Dragons, Eels, and Wests Tigers, with the top five teams contesting the finals.

The Sea Eagles will be boosted by the return of Bunting, who has played eight matches in the NSW Cup for Blacktown Workers since round 14.

Caleb Navale, who made his NRL debut for Manly against South Sydney in June, is another welcome addition to the Jersey Flegg team after returning there in last week's 30-10 loss to competition leaders Canberra.

Manly Coach Scott Kenna said the team was glad to be back home again after playing in Fiji and Canberra over the past fortnight.

"To be back home this week and to have Tylor and Caleb available is massive for us,'' Kenna said.

"Both players will bring a lot of experience and leadership from being in the higher grades for the last three months.

"We were in the contest against Canberra in the first half last week, but we let ourselves down in the second half and they took their opportunities.

"I was disappointed in the way we finished our sets. We didn't build pressure and we missed too many crucial tackles.

"We are looking at getting back to what our strengths are as a team and as individuals, and implementing this against the Warriors."
