What does it mean to you to be part of the first Manly Harvey Norman’s Women’s team?

It's a real privilege to be able to say I was part of the first Manly women's team in this competition and be a part of the history at this club. The Sea Eagles have been so supportive around the whole transition. I truly appreciate everything that they have done for us girls.

What are your goals this season?

To develop my game as well as improving our side. I'm taking this opportunity to get feedback from the team and coaching staff as I want to continue to better myself on and off the field.

Coach Keith Hanley says:

"Mattise has grown immensely since the Tarsha Gale Cup began in February. Her understanding of football has come to a point now where she is probably one of the main drivers of our team, which is what is going to have to happen in the halves. Her kicking game has heavily improved, she has a really good running game, and defends strongly. She is a really good playmaker and a smart girl.”
