Haumole Olakau'atu to miss two games

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles second-rower Haumole Olakau'atu will miss the next two games after accepting an early guilty plea for his role in the Origin Three melee on Wednesday night.

A non playing member in the Blues squad, Olakau'atu was hit with a Grade 3 Contrary Conduct charge for joining the melee which carries a two-game ban.

The suspension would have increased to three matches should Olakau'átu challenged the charge and was found guilty at the NRL judiciary.

Olakau'atu was dropped for game three after playing in the first two matches of this year's series for NSW.

He will now miss Sunday's home game against the Gold Coast Titans and the Sydney Roosters match at Allianz Stadium the following week.

With Manly having a bye in round 22, Olakauátu will return against the Canberra Raiders on Saturday, August 10, at GIO Stadium.
