What's your favorite rugby league memory growing up?
Playing school league gala days with my friends.
Who are your favourite rugby league players in NRL or NRLW?
Daly Cherry-Evans, Keeley Davis
What does it mean to you to be part of the first Manly Harvey Norman’s Women’s team?
It means a lot, especially after being a part of Manly’s first Tarsha Gale Cup team last year. To now be able to progress through the pathways into the first Harvey Norman Women's Premiership team is a huge opportunity which I’m grateful for.
Funniest team-mate?
Taytana Pati Ah-Cheung
What are your goals this season?
My goal for this season is to play good footy to give myself and my team-mates the best opportunity, and to hopefully set myself up for NRLW.
Tell us about your family and any special achievements?
I am the eldest of two. My Mum is Filipino and my Dad is Scottish. I would say being part of Manly’s first Harvey Norman team is a pretty special achievement.
Who is your hero?
My Mum because she’s hard working and dedicated
What's your favorite movie and why?
She’s The Man. It's funny and shows that sports aren’t just for boys, and that girls can play and make a living out of it, just as much as the boys can.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
My two favourite activities to do in my free time would be camping and snowboarding.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Definitely more of a night owl than a morning person.
Coach Keith Hanley says:
"Alicia is an outstanding hooker. She is a fire cracker. Other teams look at her stature and misunderstand what the package is. They just run at her, they target her because she is small, but she just gets up under the ball and whacks people. Alicia is an incredibly good defender. When we have got the ball, she is very good at identifying what's happening at marker and when to have a run herself. It takes the pressure off the forwards when you have got someone like that who can just burn 15-20 metres from dummy half."
