Sea Eagles extend prop Josh Aloiai for two years

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have extended the contract of experienced prop Josh Aloiai for a further two years.

Off contract at the end of next year, the 28-year-old will now be at the Sea Eagles until the end of the 2027 season.

A hard running prop with a high work ethic, Aloiai has been a mainstay of the Sea Eagles pack over the past three years.

Aloiai has played 150 NRL games, 60 of them at Manly.

“I feel like Josh has been in as good as form as he has ever been in his career at the moment,’’ said Manly Coach Anthony Seibold.

“He has been really consistent with what he has brought to the group.

“Josh is a real mentor to the younger forwards in guys like Haumole Olakau’atu and Gordon Chan Kum Tong, amongst others.

“To have him commit his future to the club is very pleasing. I really enjoy working with him. He has an influential and positive effect on our group.”
