Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have arranged an action packed afternoon of rugby league and activities for Sunday, July 14, at 4 Pines Park. Brookvale.

The Sea Eagles host the Newcastle Knights in a triple header with the NRL Telstra Premiership match in the family friendly timeslot of 4pm.

Golden Eagles Day

Former Manly players, officials, and administrators from across all grades will come together on Sunday to celebrate the club's rich history.

The Golden Eagles will march from Manly Leagues Club to 4 Pines Park at 3.10pm before taking part in a lap of honour from 3.30-3.45pm prior to the NRL match.

Cliff Lyons Presentation

Cliff Lyons, one of Manly's greatest ever players, will be presented with his '300 Club' Ring in a special on-field tribute at 3.45pm.

Lyons will receive the ring from NRL CEO Andrew Abdo in recognition of his outstanding career and contribution to rugby league.

Malcolm Reilly Challenge Trophy

Named after Great Britain great Malcom Reilly,  Manly and Newcastle play for the annual trophy when they meet for the first time each season in honour of the man who made a big impact at both clubs.

Reilly played 89 games for Manly from 1971-75 and played in their premiership winning teams in 1972 and ’73. He later coached Newcastle to their first premiership victory against Manly.

The trophy was first played for in 2007. Of the 17 matches played, Manly have won the trophy 10 times.

DJ Cyril set to entertain

Australian DJ and record producer, Cyril, will entertain the crowd at half-time of the NRL match from the Northern Concourse.

Garden Bar

The Garden Bar Precinct will open from 1:30pm for supporters to enjoy some live music, face painting, while watching the games on a giant screen.

Meet the Sea Eagles

Supporters will be able to meet the Sea Eagles players at a special signing  session from 7pm in the Menzies Sports Bar in Manly Leagues Club following the game.

All are welcome to come along and meet the team.

Getting to 4 Pines Park

Supporters are encouraged to consider all the available public transport options ahead of time.

Drive with your group and use nearby local parking. Allow extra travel time as traffic may be heavier than usual. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at livetraffic.com

If you have to catch public transport, please plan ahead at transportnsw.info and allow plenty of extra travel time. Buses run regularly to Brookvale making stops on Pittwater Rd near the stadium.
