Understanding their DNA and what works best for them has been one of the real keys in the great form of Manly’s Jersey Flegg team over the past month.
The Sea Eagles have won four straight games under Coach Scott Kenna to now sit in sixth place with six wins from 10.
“We have been able to win in different ways and on the back of some short turnarounds,’’ Kenna said.
“The team has been working really hard on understanding what works for us as a group and what is our DNA.
“We have been sticking with a process that we have all bought into and making it a real focus for us.”
The Sea Eagles now face a tough fly in, fly out trip to Melbourne on Saturday to face a Storm team just two points behind them in 10th place.

“Travelling in and out of Melbourne in one day is always difficult but with an eight-day turnaround, we were able to reduce the work load at the back end of this week,’’ Kenna said.
“The group has a rest day on Friday before we travel early Saturday morning.
“For us, it’s about keeping on track with our processes and just focus on what we can do.”
