When Daly Cherry-Evans landed his field goal at 4 Pines Park on Sunday, he did more than just secure victory for the Sea Eagles.
With Manly leading 20-14 over the Sydney Roosters, the experienced half-back and captain showed his class and experience with a 71st minute field goal to give the Sea Eagles a match-winning seven point lead.

Cherry-Evans now sits third behind Eric Simms on 86 field goals and Bob Fulton on 58 for most field goals overall in the history of rugby league.
