From Newcastle to Brookvale to now the 'sports entertainment capital of the world' of Las Vegas, it has been one incredible journey so far for the Trbojevic family.
Saturday night's historic NRL Telstra Premiership season opener in America against South Sydney Rabbitohs marks the first time this much loved family will witness brothers Jake, Tom, and Ben play together overseas.
And what a spectacular place to do it too than the magnificent Allegiant Stadium, which played host to the Super Bowl just a fortnight ago.
The brothers will be joined for the first ever premiership match in America by their parents, Melissa and John, brother Luke, and their respective partners and extended family.
“'It's a great life experience for us to come to Las Vegas as we have never been before, so to come here and experience it as brothers is very special,'' Jake said.
"To have all three of us starting in round one is special. It’s where you want to be.”
The family have previously shared in the enjoyment of watching the brothers play their first NRL game together when Ben made his first grade debut against the Knights in 2021.
Then there was the thrill of watching Ben score two tries against the Wests Tigers in 2022 in their first ever game together at their beloved ‘Brookie’.
And now they get the chance to see Ben start the season in the second-row against South Sydney with Jake and Tom in their customary positions of lock and full-back.
"It’s obviously a great opportunity for our family as they enjoy coming to our games,'' Tom said.
"There won’t be too many times we get to play here in America, so we are just as excited as they are.
“We're very grateful to our family for making the long journey to watch us.
"It's also very special for Ben. He has worked very hard and it’s great to see him get the opportunity. I’m sure he is going to show everyone what he can do.”
Ben said he and his brothers were extremely honoured to be part of the NRL Double Header.
“It's a very proud moment for ourselves and our family,'' Ben said.
“To be part of being one of the first four clubs to come to America is such a great honour. It's going to be a special game.
“I’m just grateful for the opportunity ‘Seibs’ has given me. I’m keen to get out there on Saturday and hopefully get the win to cap off a big week.”
Manly Coach Anthony Seibold said it was a wonderful moment for the Trbojevic family.
“I'm really pleased for Ben. He is a great young man who has really developed on and off the field,’’ Seibold said.
“Ben has had a fantastic pre-season. He has made some physical gains in the gym strength wise and he has really nailed that left hand side as an edge back-rower,
"He has earnt his spot there and I can't wait to see him play. It's fantastic to have all three brothers starting. There is a real camaraderie amongst those guys."
