Manly Warringah Sea Eagles NRL players Tolu Koula and Haumole Olakau’atu have been chosen in the Tonga squad for the upcoming Test series against England.
Tonga will become the first Pacific nation to play a full three-Test series against England.
Koula and Olakau’atu made their Test debuts for Tonga against New Zealand at Mt Smart Stadium in June last year before representing their country at the World Cup in England.
Koula has played three games for Tonga and Olakauátu two.
Latu Fainu, who leaves the Sea Eagles in November to join the Wests Tigers, has also been named in the squad.
The Tongan team go into camp at Redcliffe this weekend before flying out for England next week.
The series gets underway at St Helens on October 22 followed by Tests at Huddersfield on October 28 and Leeds on November 4.
