Sea Eagles have plenty to play for in vital Dragons match

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have plenty of reasons to turn in another strong showing at WIN Stadium this Saturday night.

Not only will the Sea Eagles be out to stay in the NRL finals race with a win over the St George-Illawarra Dragons, but the team will be keen to make sure it's a memorable night for Daly Cherry-Evans and Lachlan Croker.

Team changes

Toff Sipley returns to the front-row to partner Matthew Lodge following injuries to props Taniela Paseka (knee) and Josh Aloiai (shoulder) last week. Lock Jake Trbojevic is right to play following a HIA against Cronulla.

Milestone Men

Inspirational half-back and captain Cherry-Evans will become just the second player to play 300 first grade games for Manly.

One of the greatest Sea Eagles half-backs of all time, Cherry-Evans also becomes just the 49th player to play 300 NRL games, and just the 19th to achieve it at one club.

The much-loved Croker also brings up 100th NRL game in a true testament of a man who has had to overcome three knee reconstructions in six seasons at Manly to establish himself as the team's permanent hooker.

The Dragons overcame a 14-12 half-time deficit in Wollongong to beat the last-placed Wests Tigers 18-14.

Stats

Manly will be out to amend a horror record, having not won in Wollongong since 2003. The Sea Eagles have lost 10 of 11 matches against the Dragons at WIN Stadium.

The Dragons have won seven of their last 10 matches against the Sea Eagles.

Winger Jason Saab and interchange Aaron Woods are the only Sea Eagles players who have won an NRL game in Wollongong.
