Manly Warringah Sea Eagles wheelchair rugby league team will be looking to cap off a fine season with a Grand Final victory this Sunday at Menai.
The Sea Eagles have finished the NSW Wheelchair Rugby League Plate Competition as Minor Premiers and now face old rivals Cronulla Sutherland Sharks in the season decider at Menai Indoor Sports Centre (98-150 Allison Cres, Menai) on Sunday, July 2, at 2.30pm.
The NSW Wheelchair Rugby League Plate competition started in 2019 and is a competition for new and developing players, comprising of four teams in the Sea Eagles, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Penrith Panthers, and the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Originally started as a social competition, the NSW Plate has vastly become competitive in nature and is contested by players of all ages. Games are played over 4 x 10 minute quarters with a one minute break in between with a two minute half-time break.

Under Coach Edge Iole, the Sea Eagles won seven of their nine regular season matches before beating the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in last week's semi-final to advance to the Grand Final.

At the end of each NRL season, the Sea Eagles proudly donate sets of jerseys for the Manly wheelchair rugby league team to wear in their matches.
