Sea Eagles ready for vital home clash against Roosters

Sunday afternoon footy returns to 4 Pines Park this weekend for a vital clash between the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and the Sydney Roosters.

The Roosters sit in 12th place on 18 points, one point and position ahead of the Sea Eagles with 10 rounds remaining. South Sydney round out the eight on 20 points.

Team News

The Sea Eagles welcome back Jake Trbojevic (calf), Jason Saab (shoulder), Kelma Tuilagi (facial fracture), Ben Trbojevic (hamstring) and Brad Parker (elbow) for the clash with the Roosters.

Jake Trbojevic will certainly tighten up the team's defence with his high work rate, which has been sorely missing since his round 12 injury in the great win over the Canberra Raiders.

Protect the 'Fortress'

The Sea Eagles have won four of their six home games at 4 Pines Park in 2023. Their last start effort at home saw Manly record their biggest win of the year with a 58-18 blitzing of the Dolphins in round 15.

Last Start

The Sea Eagles were very strong defensively in the first half against the Melbourne Storm last Saturday night at AAMI Park, but a lack of detail in attack proved costly with Manly going down 24-6.
