Tough week galvanises Sea Eagles for Storm clash

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will be looking to put a tough week behind them with a much needed victory over the Melbourne Storm at AAMI Park on Saturday night.

The Sea Eagles head into the game determined to bounce back from a disappointing 34-4 loss to the Parramatta Eels at Commbank Stadium last Saturday night.

Manly have experienced the highs and lows of rugby league since Wednesday night's second State of Origin match, having lost brilliant full-back Tom Trbojevic with a torn pectoral muscle injury.

It was mixed emotions for the Sea Eagles with the club delighted for half-back and captain Daly Cherry-Evans in leading Queensland to his third Origin series win in his 21st game for the Maroons.

The Sea Eagles head into the game in 12th place on the ladder on 17 points, one point outside the top eight. The Storm sit in third place.

Team News

Daly Cherry-Evans is set to back up from Origin duty for the Sea Eagles with Kaeo Weekes to take over at full-back for Trbojevic.
