Charging bull...Prop Austin Dias takes on the Magpies

Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles will be looking for their fourth win in their last seven matches when they travel to Parramatta to take on the Eels in round 16 of the NSW Cup on Saturday.

The selection of Daly Cherry-Evans and Tom Trbojevic for Origin next Wednesday means Blacktown half-back Jake Arthur and full-back Kaeo Weekes have been promoted back to the Manly NRL team to play the Eels.

Exciting 18-year-old half Latu Fainu moves back into the NSW Cup side after scoring two tries at five-eighth for Manly in their Jersey Flegg Cup win over Wests Tigers last Friday night.

Jake Toby shifts from five-eighth back to full-back for Blacktown Workers this week.

Blacktown’s form in the last two months has seen them shoot up the ladder to sixth place with 16 competition points following five wins, two draws and two byes.

They take on a Parramatta side that were blown out of the water last Monday, being demolished 64-12 by the Bulldogs on the King’s Birthday.

After letting a 16-8 lead slip to draw 16-all against Western Suburbs Magpies at home last Sunday, Blacktown will be hoping for a better result against Parramatta.

The Eels snatched two tries in the final six minute in round three to take a 30-22 win in a match that saw the Sea Eagles lead 16-6 lead at half-time.

Parramatta will need to keep a close eye on Blacktown Workers centre Clayton Faulalo, who sits in equal first place for tries scored in the NSW Cup this season with 14.

The NSW Cup match kicks off at 3pm at CommBank Stadium on Saturday as the curtain raiser game to the NRL match.
