Some very exciting young talent will be on show for the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles in their NSW Cup season opener on Saturday, March 4.
The likes of Sea Eagles players Fletcher Myers, Samuela Fainu, and Zac Fulton will line up for new Coach Greg Boulous as Blacktown Workers look to begin their season at 4 Pines Park against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs off on the right note.
2023 marks a fresh new start for the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles after finishing with the wooden spoon last year.
Boulous heads a new coaching staff and playing roster that will also benefit from having several Manly Warringah Sea Eagles top 30 players available each week if not selected in the NRL side.
Blacktown Workers players Jake Toby, Austin Dias, Dean Matterson and Joshua Stuckey have all spent the pre-season training with the Sea Eagles NRL squad.
Experienced NRL players Morgan Boyle (foot) and Karl Lawton (knee) will also run out for Blacktown Workers in their first match back from long term injuries.
Hooker Nathaniel Roache will also play his first game for Blacktown Workers following a lengthy knee injury.
Toby, Blacktown's NSW Cup Players’ Player in 2022, will miss the game with a hamstring strain.
Former Manly forward Andrew Davey will line up for the Bulldogs in his first game back at Brookvale.
The NSW Cup match kicks-off at 12.40pm and will be shown live on Fox League/Kayo.
Triple Header Action
Get there bright and early on Saturday to watch three grades of Manly play at 4 Pines Park. The action kicks off with the Jersey Flegg, followed by the NSW Cup, concluded with our NRL side running out, with all three sides taking on the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
