2023 marks an exciting fresh new start for the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles in the NSW Cup competition.
Following a tough 2022 season that saw Blacktown finish with the wooden spoon, the club has undergone a clean out of its playing roster and coaching staff.
Blacktown will be coached in 2023 by Greg Boulous, a high-performance sports coach with over 15 years of successful experience and knowledge in rugby league.

Boulous joins Blacktown Workers with an impressive resume and has spent time working with the Sea Eagles NRL coaching staff over summer.
A former Parramatta Eels junior representative player who made their NRL squad in 2001, Boulous has been involved in coaching and junior pathways programs both in Australia and New Zealand.
He has previously held the roles of SG Ball Head Coach at Parramatta and New Zealand Warriors, Jersey Flegg Coach for the Warriors and NSW Cup Assistant Coach at North Sydney.
On an international front, Boulous has also been an Assistant Coach of the Kiwi Ferns women’s team fort the World Nines and Assistant Coach of the Kiwi Ferns for the 2019 Test match against Australia.
He was also Head of the Rugby League program at Westfields Sports High from 2005-2018.
Boulous was also the Head of Pathways for the New Zealand Warriors in 2019-20.
On the playing front, Boulos has assembled a strong roster of players headed by the likes of Jake Toby, Austin Dias, Dean Matterson and Joshua Stuckey, who have spent the pre-season training with the Sea Eagles NRL squad.

Exciting full-back Jake Toby, Blacktown's NSW Cup Players’ Player in 2022, adds plenty of speed and skill to the backline.
Dias will also bring with him some valuable experience after representing the Māori All Stars team against the Indigenous All Stars at Rotorua International Stadium recently.

Blacktown Workers will also benefit from having several Manly Warringah Sea Eagles top 30 players available if not selected for the NRL team that week.
The Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles open their season against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at 4 Pines Park on Saturday, March 4, at 12.40pm, in the second match of a triple header between the clubs.
