Brad Parker returns from injury for Sea Eagles

Experienced Manly Warringah Sea Eagles centre Brad Parker will make a welcome return from injury this Sunday.

Parker suffered a partially torn ACL ligament in Manly's round eight loss to South Sydney on April 29. He initially underwent rehabilitation work for a month before being reassessed by the club's medical staff.

He will make his return for Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles in the NSW Cup match against the St George-Illawarra Dragons at 4 Pines Park, where he will partner Ben in the centres.

The injury was a major blow to the Sea Eagles given Parker enjoyed his finest season at Manly in 2021, taking his game to another level under Coach Des Hasler. He also formed a strong combination with Reuben Garrick

Known for his strong defensive efforts, Parker showed his fine attacking prowess in 2021, crossing for eight tries in 25 games, including two doubles.

Parker's absence since the Souths match has seen exciting youngster Tolu Koula make a strong impression in the centres.
