Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will open their Jersey Flegg Cup season against the Penrith Panthers on Saturday, March 12.
The Sea Eagles will be coached by Adam McEwen.
A former South Sydney first grade player, McEwen was the coach of the undefeated premiership winning Manly Harold Matthews Cup side in 2021.
Unfortunately, the U21s Jersey Flegg Cup has been cut short for the past two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Jersey Flegg Cup will feature 12 teams with Canberra Raiders and Newcastle Knights joining Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, North Sydney Bears, Parramatta Eels, Penrith Panthers, St George Illawarra Dragons, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Sydney Roosters and Wests Tigers.
The Raiders and the Knights are returning to the competition for their first full season since 2019.
