Manly Warringah Sea Eagles is pleased to announce the signing of hooker Karl Lawton, effective immediately, until the end of the 2022 season.

Lawton joined the Sea Eagles today after being released from the final year of his contract by the Warriors.

The 25-year-old hooker has played 45 NRL matches since making his first-grade debut for the Gold Coast Titans against the Warriors in July 2016.

After playing 12 games for the Titans, Lawton joined the Warriors for the 2018 season. He played 33 games for the Warriors

Lawton is currently working hard on his recovery from an offseason Achilles injury and is expected to return in Round 12.

“Karl brings plenty of added depth and experience as a hooker,’’ said Sea Eagles Recruitment Officer, Scott Fulton.
