Brendan Elliot certainly enjoyed his finest season in the NRL in 2019 after coming to the Manly Sea Eagles looking for a chance to play more first grade. Injuries to Tom Trbojevic saw Elliot play 14 of his 18 games at full-back where he proved to be more than a handy replacement with his safety under the high ball and his ability to break tackles.
