There was only ever going to be one winner of Tackle of the Week for Round 24 but the margin of Jorge Taufua's victory still came as a shock.

The bone-rattling tackle Taufua delivered on Storm five-eighth Cameron Munster on Saturday night finished with an impressive 94 per cent of the votes.

After a series of crunching efforts earlier in the year, Taufua saved his best for last.

The three other nominees were no match for Taufua.

Josh Morris ran down Jarrod Croker on Sunday, the day after Nat Butcher mowed down Panthers centre Brent Naden at the SCG.

Warriors centre Peta Hiku - with some help from teammates - was the other nomination.
