Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are giving supporters the chance to bid on the commemorative jerseys worn against the Warriors in Christchurch.
Our home match at Christchurch Stadium was more than ‘just a game’ following the recent shooting tragedy in Christchurch.
In a great show of strength and solidarity, the Sea Eagles proudly carried the #TheyAreUs message on their jerseys in the 46-12 win over the Warriors.
The #TheyAreUs message appeared on the Manly jersey as a mark of respect to those lives lost.
The message appeared on the Sea Eagles crest that sat on the heart of the Manly players.
The Club has received plenty of enquiries about the commemorative jersey and if it is available for sale. The jersey is not for sale.
With this in mind, the Club has decided to auction off a set of player issued jerseys carrying the #TheyAreUs message.
Each player issued jersey has been signed by the player. Please note that players are issued with two sets of jerseys per game and we cannot guarantee the jersey you bid on was match worn.
The jersey includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
