Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today extended the contract of giant young prop Taniela Paseka.
Off contract at the end of 2019, Paseka will remain at the Sea Eagles until the end of the 2021 season.
The 21-year-old made his NRL debut for the Sea Eagles in round six this year after joining the Club from the Wests Tigers midway through 2017.
Standing at 197cm, Paseka has played 13 NRL matches and is averaging 61 metres per game.
Sea Eagles Coach Des Hasler said Paseka was a player with tremendous potential.
"Taniela is a willing learner and he has a lot of experience around him. I have no doubt that he will graduate to be an outstanding NRL front-rower,'' Hasler said.
Sea Eagles CEO Lyall Gorman said he was very pleased about the extension for Paseka.
"Taniela's persistence and commitment fits in perfectly with our Club culture,'' Gorman said.
"He has plenty of talent and under the leadership of Des and his staff, I have no doubt he will go on to develop into a long-term NRL player at our Club.
"I am delighted that he has agreed to extend his time with us."
