Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are pleased to announce the signing of Kane Elgey on a two-year deal.
An electric young prospect, the 24-year-old has played 43 games in the NRL for the Gold Coast Titans featuring in the halves.
Elgey will begin his time at the Sea Eagles from the start of the 2019 pre-season until the end of 2020.
Sea Eagles CEO Lyall Gorman said Elgey is an exciting signing for the Sea Eagles.
“Kane is a very talented player and his experience in the halves will add great depth and broader options to our playing squad,” Gorman said.
“We look forward to welcoming him into the Sea Eagles family in the pre-season.”
Former Gold Coast Titans Coach, and now Assistant Coach at the Sea Eagles, John Cartwright, said Elgey will bring a special element to the club.
“I’ve known Kane since he was seventeen and playing on the Gold Coast have watched him progress through the grades, he’s a great kid and very dedicated,” Cartwright said.
“I think he’ll relish the opportunity and thrive with the quality of players that will surround him down here. He also gives us more depth in key areas.”
