Tom Trbojevic will make his Australian Test debut in Canberra this Friday night.

The outstanding 21-year-old Manly full-back has been named on the wing in the Kangaroos team to play France at Canberra Stadium after playing in a warm up match against Fiji and Papua New Guinea prior to the World Cup starting last weekend.

Last month, Trbojevic got his first taste in the green and gold when he starred for the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII team against PNG in Port Moresby.

His Test debt will be a proud moment for the Trbojevic family and brother Jake, who has already played three Tests for Australia.

Unfortunately for Jake, the Manly and Australian Test lock undergoes surgery on Wednesday after suffering a pectoral tear in the Test against England in the Rugby League World Cup opener last Friday night.
