Steve Matai spoke to the media at the Sea Eagles training facilities in Narrabeen today.

The Manly veteran is excited to get back out onto the field on Monday night and is anticipating the clash against the Wests Tigers. "As a player, you want to get out and start playing again, we have a long turnaround for the next game but the boys are doing everything they can to prepare for this weekend's game," Matai said.

The former New Zealand international also gave his thoughts on Martin Taupau facing his former club the Wests Tigers.
