Martin Taupau and Lewis Brown have expressed their excitement about playing in a strong side capable of winning the 2016 Telstra Premiership.

In their first appearance in Sea Eagles colours, Taupau and Brown returned to Sydney this afternoon following the New Zealand tour of England.

“Manly is a club with a lot of history behind it and I’m just really glad to be a part of this team,’’ Taupau said.

“I believe in my ability and the whole team’s ability, including the management.”

Brown said he was looking forward to working once again under Head Coach Trent Barrett.

“Leaving the Panthers was hard but one of the big things for me was I wanted to join a club that I thought could win a premiership. As you can see, the roster keeps building well,’’ Brown said.
