Tough, tenacious and fearless are just some of the words used to describe young Jake Trbojevic.
After an ankle injury kept the Mona Vale junior out of action for 2014, the young prop became a shining light for the Sea Eagles in 2015.
Trbojevic started the season by playing a small role in the 24-22 win over the Storm at Brookvale but soon became a prominent and regular member of the forwards pack.
Jake, who is renowned for his tackling technique, was a linchpin in the Sea Eagles surge up the NRL ladder towards the second half of the season where he produced some notable performances.
A first half try against the Warriors capped off a fine display in Auckland for himself and the team but he followed it up with a further two tries against last years reigning premiers the South Sydney Rabbitohs. The season was capped off for young Jake when he was presented with the club’s best and fairest at the end of season awards night.
Sea Eagles’ fans have plenty of reasons to be excited about the performance and potential of Jake Trbojevic and incoming coach Trent Barrett will be looking forward to further developing his potential.
