Willie Mason has again shown why he is one of rugby league’s great characters.
Speaking to media today, Mason gave a light hearted response about Daly Cherry-Evans playing against the Gold Coast Titans after deciding to stay with Manly Warringah for life after initially agreeing to terms in March with the club he will line up against on Monday night.
“The Titans have been struggling to get a crowd at Cbus Super Stadium, so I hope everyone gets out there and gives it to DCE,’’ Mason laughed.
