Representative back-rower Anthony Watmough will miss Saturday’s elimination final clash with the Bulldogs after accepting the early-guilty charge handed down from the NRL’s Match Review Committee.

Having already been to the judiciary once this season for a similar offence during State of Origin, loading played a key part in keeping him out of action.

Skipper Jamie Lyon, who was involved in the same tackle on Rabbitohs fullback Greg Inglis, also took the early plea but will be free to play as he has had no prior or similar offences occur in the past two seasons.

In other news and positive sign for the side, Jayden Hodges returned to the training paddock with the team today but will continue to be monitored after an injury scare to his neck on Friday night.
