Player Appearance Policy
Player appearance request policy
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are proud to support not-for-profit and charitable organisations with their events and other fundraising efforts.
The Club understands that providing support to the community is important.
Requests for the Sea Eagles Players and/or Coaching Staff to make an appearance at an event must be in writing and emailed to the Community Department.
Due to the high level of corporate commitments together with our already associated community programs, and the players training schedule, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your appearance request.
Request Criteria and Process:
- Requests to be submitted in writing to the Sea Eagles Community Department.
- Requests must be submitted at least six (6) weeks prior to the event and must not exceed the duration of one (1) hour
- All submissions will remain pending until you are notified of the outcome of your request
- No personal requests will be considered e.g. Birthday parties, weddings, etc.
- No athletic functions with risk of injury will be considered
Preferences of requests are given in the following order:
- Local Junior League Clubs within the Sea Eagles District
- Local Schools that are associated with the Sea Eagles and NRL Game Development Programs
- Community Partners of the Sea Eagles
- Not-for-profit organisations within the Northern Beaches
- Other not-for-profit organisations in the wider community

- During the off season; this starts the day following the last match of the season until mid-November
- On bye weekends during the NRL Premiership season
- On the teams scheduled day off
- On Game days
- On the day before or after a game
Please note that the Sea Eagles cannot accept responsibility for last minute player cancellations due to injury/illness or change of training schedules.

All requests will be responded to in writing, whether successful or not.
