Game Development

The Manly-Warringah District is proud to have dedicated NRL Game Development Officers working across our community to grow participation in every form of rugby league, from local clubs to school programs and community events.

Together with the Manly Sea Eagles and associated stakeholders, the NRL Game Development Team work collectively to strengthen their connection and alignment, to support the growth of the game across the district. With a shared goal to give more kids, families, and volunteers the opportunity to experience and enjoy rugby league in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. Either as a participant or a fan.

Our Game Development Officers play a vital role in promoting and developing the game through a wide range of initiatives, including:

  • Major Event Activations in partnership with the Sea Eagles
  • League Stars Programs – before and after school, holiday clinics, and gala days
  • Sporting Schools Programs
  • Primary (K–6) and Secondary School Competitions
  • Coach & Sports Trainer Accreditation Courses
  • Referee Development Programs, including Beyond the Goalposts for high school students
  • Coach Development Programs providing ongoing support to junior league coaches
