On the charge... Full-back Albert Hopoate scored four tries in the big win over Western Sydney Academy of Sport at Lottoland today.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles turned in a dominant performance to crush Western Sydney Academy of Sport 54-4 at Lottoland today in round three of the NSWRL Harold Matthews competition

In wet conditions, the Sea Eagles outclassed their opponents with some superb attacking flair and aggressive defence in a performance that will excite Manly supporters and make opposition sides very wary.

A week earlier, the Sea Eagles trounced South Sydney 54-8 in round two.

Full-back Albert Hopoate scored four first half tries to give the Sea Eagles a commanding 36-0 lead at half-time. Tom Latu, Jack Birt and Kaeo Weekes also scored first half tries. Half-back Riaihe Jacobs kicked four goals.

The second half was more of a struggle for the Sea Eagles with tries to Joshua Schuster, Daniel Ala and Weekes.

The second try of Weekes came off a great break by prop Viliami Fifita before the five-eighth showed his pace to beat the defence out wide to score behind the posts. Jacobs converted for the 54-4 scoreline.

Western Sydney Academy never gave in despite the scoreline and played with plenty of heart.
