Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today announced a new Sleeve Partner in ZTE.
ZTE is a global leader in the manufacturing of telecommunications equipment and smartphones and have been partnering with Australian mobile operators for almost a decade.
Building upon the successful sponsorships of NBA teams in the US, including the New York Knicks, Houston Rockets, and Golden State Warriors, as well as the just announced partnerships with Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls, ZTE will expand its localised approach to build its presence in Australia, from the consumer up, by connecting with NRL fans.
“We see Manly and ZTE as a perfect match as we look to build on the success of the past nine years for both mobile operators and consumers alike,” said Scott Zhang, Managing Director, ZTE (Australia)
Sea Eagles CEO Joe Kelly welcomed ZTE to the Club’s corporate family.
“It’s fantastic to have ZTE as the new Sleeve Partner and official smart phone of the Sea Eagles. Smart phones play an increasingly important role in our daily lives and we are excited to help ZTE build their brand across Australia and ultimately drive ZTE smart phone sales,’’ Kelly said.
The Club is also pleased to announce that Kyocera is upgrading their support from Shorts Partner in 2015 to the jersey in 2016. Today’s announcements of CoCo Joy (centre front) and ZTE (sleeve), combined with the continued support from Daikin (top back), Kyocera (bottom back), URM (sternum), and ISC (kit partner), makes the 2016 Sea Eagles jersey the most lucrative in the Club’s history.
The Club is now focussed on securing a Shorts Partner to close out the 2016 players’ apparel.
