Sea Eagles release Josh Schuster

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles have today mutually agreed to release second-rower Josh Schuster from the final three years of his contract.

Signed until the end of 2027, Schuster will now explore other opportunities in his career.

The 22-year-old scored five tries in 50 games for the Sea Eagles after making his NRL debut for Manly in 2020. He came through the Sea Eagles Pathways program.

“Unfortunately, things haven’t worked out for both parties in the end,’’ said Manly CEO Tony Mestrov.

“Josh now needs time to focus on himself and what is best for him moving forward.

“We all know Josh is a very talented player and we hope that he can find a new club soon. We wish him well.”
